First Thursday: Bee Aware!

First Thursday Senior Fellowship is starting up again on Thursday, April 3, beginning with lunch at 11:45 in Fellowship Hall, followed by a special program at 1:00 pm.

In April we will welcome David Silk, author of the unique book Bee Parables. After 23 years with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, David graduated from Biblical Theological Seminary in 2005 with the MA Academic Award and Greek Exegesis Award. Combining his seminary education with a life-long interest in honeybees, he wrote Bee Parables, which builds on the concepts found in 1 Corinthians where believers are encouraged to have an active role with the Christian community.
