Small Groups

At Great Valley Church, we believe that significant spiritual growth can be facilitated in a small group setting. Small groups are also a great way to help people get connected. We invite you to consider kick-starting this growth in relationship with our Lord (and others) with us! Feel free to attend one of our small groups, located geographically around the Malvern area.

Why small groups?

We believe that as we grow in our relationship with our Lord, we are made more free from sin and more like Christ in our actual lives. Small groups provide an ideal context for this growth to occur.  We need others to help us in our pursuit of seeing and acting on God's purpose for our lives.

The Goal

The there is one goal... to bring the application of Scriptures to everyday life for all involved. Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus - Romans 3:13-14

Small Groups Now.

Great Valley normally has 8-10 small groups that meet between Labor Day and Memorial Day. They tend to average from 6 to 15 participants per group, and typically meet in individual homes on weekday evenings. Some groups have one leader, others rotate leadership. Some groups meet weekly, others every other week (most groups meet during the academic year).  Ask Jim Shackleton for more details.
